Description
Widely regarded as one of the best co-operatives in the world, this winery was founded in 1955. Grapes for this wine are sourced from delineated Grand Crus – the soil is dry granite keeping yields low. Classic Alsace Riesling, fine and dry with honey, floral and citrus fruit on the nose and a wet gravel minerality. There is also a smoky element that is underpinned by luscious acidity. Classically paired with seafood or rich pork and cheese dishes – Choucroute or tarte flambée.
