We have just recieved the lastest arrivals from the fantastic Beak distillery. They began life as a nomadic project run by food and drink writer Daniel Tapper, who spent several years honing his recipes with friends at some of the UK’s greatest breweries. The project has since laid roots in the East Sussex town of Lewes where it also runs an award-winning taproom and street-food canteen.
Beak Parade IPA 6% – Beak’s house IPA combines London Fog yeast with three of their favourite hop varieties, Citra, Mosaic and Idaho 7, resulting in fruit bubblegum flavours of mango, orange peel, pineapple and ripe flat peaches.
Beak Western Seaboard Project #3 Bright IPA 6% – The Western Seaboard Project is a series of IPAs inspired by contemporary Pacific coast beer culture, focusing less on bitterness and more on crisp malt profiles with modern, ultra-vivid hop character. This third release is saturated in super fresh, hand-selected Citra in four forms: T-90, Cryo, Hyperboost and Dynaboost. Spritzy, resinous and dank in all the key areas with flavours of Seville Marmalade and blood orange negronis.
Beak Alcohol Free IPA 0.5% – This premium alcohol free IPA is saturated in super fresh hops – hand-selected from individual farms in the Yakima Valley, US and in Nelson, NZ. Hazy, juicy and hangover-free with flavours of apricot, mango and lime mojitos.
