We’ve recently heard that the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance airbase appeal has broken the halfway mark of £1.8 million raised so far!

The appeal is aiming to raise £3.6 million to relocate the airbase from Thruxton to a new site adjacent to Southampton airport. This will enable the experienced team of doctors, pilots and paramedics to be able to reach almost every patient in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight within 10 minutes of take off, ensuring emergency critical care can be delivered as quickly as possible.

We’d like to thank our customers for their support and kind donations to Simon’s “Miles for Missions” fundraising that has helped raise an incredible amount so far. Heather and Simon were treated to a tour of the new site before building work starts and can report it’s going to be a brilliant facility.
