Rich, smooth and generously fruited with aromas of ripe, black cherry, plum and blackberry, complemented by notes of sweet spice, vanilla and a touch of chocolate. The palate is full and velvety with soft tannins and concentrated dark fruit and a long, warming finish Made in Veneto using partially dried grapes, giving the wine a Amarone-inspired richness and depth – but remaining wonderfully approachable. Great with slow cooked beef stew, rich pasta dishes, pizza or mature cheese.
