Description
A fascinating single-vineyard Malbec from a tiny 0.38-hectare block planted on decomposed granite in the Jonkershoek Valley. The 2023 DOK is packed with mulberry, fruit pastilles and liquorice, followed by a juicy, fruit-driven palate. Despite its concentration, the tannins are soft and polished, with refreshing acidity bringing balance and energy. Just 1,100 bottles were produced, making this a particularly distinctive and limited expression of Malbec from Stellenbosch.
