Raats was established in 2000 and is based on a policy of ‘excellence through specialisation’. The unique granite based terroir produced some incredible wines and is now recognised as one of the finest areas in Stellenbosch for grape growing. 100% barrel aged Cabernet Franc, it is packed with dark fruit, black cherry with vanilla and spice. The wine has great purity of fruit and balanced elegance. A red meat wine, pair to game or beef as well as pork.
