Owned and managed by Serena Palazzolo and her sons, Ronco del Gnemiz has been one of Friuli Venezia-Giulia’s leading wineries for more than a decade. Their Schioppettino comes from a small, .7 hectare plot, aging for 20 months in used oak. Medium-bodied, full of spicy red fruit and leather; serve with game or grilled red meats.
