Description
This intriguing blend of Cabernet and Touriga Nacional from Western Australia is made in a clay cement tank or giant egg! The effect of circulation inside the egg adds depth volume and texture to the wine.
The 2021 was an exceptional vintage with rainfall just at the right time. No sulphur is used in the winemaking and just a minimal amount at bottling.
Cabernet Sauvignon blends combine with the Portuguese grape variety Touriga Nacional which gives the wine its intense colour. The wine has notes of dark fruit, blackberry and black cherry, along with hints of spice and tobacco. On the palate, flavours of ripe fruit, chocolate and coffee may be present. The finish is long and satisfying.
