Pre Order Offer Domaines Ott was founded in 1912 by Marcel Ott, an agricultural engineer from Alsace who dreamed of establishing a great wine estate near to the Mediterranean. The Domaine has two properties, Clos Mireille in Cotes de Provence and Chateau Romassan in Bandol. In 2004 Champagne Louis Roederer purchased the properties and together with several members of the Ott family who remain involved, have created some of the most sought after and finest Rosés in the world.
At a recent tasting I was extremely impressed by the Chateau Romassan Rosé from the heart of Bandol. It’s a blend of Mourvedre, Grenache and Cinsault and offers everything you want from Rosé – ripe berries, flowers and a touch of orange with a beautifully textured palate.
