Description
An under the radar producer, Domaine Boigelot is a small family domaine with roots in Burgundy going back to 1918. Eric is now joined by his son Charles, an exciting young winemaker who has gained experience at both Coche-Dury and Paul Pillot. The philosophy of the estate is to let the vineyard do the talking – rather than impose a winemaking style. A poised Meursault with ripe citrus, white peach and yellow flowers, underpinned by a subtle nuttiness and fine mineral edge. Generous and silky on the palate yet wonderfully fresh with a long savoury finish.
