Description
150km west of Melbourne near the small town of Irrewarra – this small three hectare vineyard was planted in 2001, with little under 1 hectare of Chardonnay. This Chardonnay is whole-bunch pressed and fermented in Allier oak barrels, where it goes through malolactic fermentation after the cold winter months. It has fresh and elegant citrus and enticing minerality. The palate shows vibrant, fresh acidity, wonderful balance and persistent finish.
