Description
Casa de Vila Nova is owned by the Lencastre family of aristocratic Portuguese lineage. The estate is near the town of Penafiel, the family planted vines over 12 hectares in the 1970’s mainly local Portuguese varieties, they now have 42 hectares. This single varietal Arinto has bright lemon and citrus characters on the nose, fresh with zesty acidity, hints ofpeach and grapefruit and a lovely minerality on the finish. A great wine for seafood.
